Description/Comments:
Aerial view of Deerfield River a few days after Tropical Storm Irene passed through in August 2011. Deerfield Academy is at the left of the photo, Route 91 is to the right. Waters have receded somewhat, but there is ample evidence of recent flooding and sediment deposition in agricultural fields and on the grounds of the academy.
