Fruits and Vegetables: ½ cup per serving
2 cups fresh fruit, diced (apples, pears, berries, grapes, or bananas)
¼ cup 100% orange juice
½ cup vanilla yogurt, low-fat or non-fat (optional)
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
- Wash and prepare fruit.
- Place fruit in a medium bowl and pour juice over fruit. Add yogurt and toss gently.
- Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top of fruit mixture.
- Serve cold.
- Dice—to cut food into small cubes about ½ inch thick or smaller.
- Change up the fruits through out the season.
