No-Bake Energy Bites

Energy Bites

Serves: Makes about 12 one-inch balls

Ingredients

⅔ cup creamy peanut butter or sunflower seed butter

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats

½ cup flax seeds, ground

2 tablespoons honey

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and stir until combined.
  2. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes. The dough will be stiff and easier to handle.
  3. Using the palm of your hands, roll the dough into little round balls. You should have 12 bites. Store the Energy Bites in a covered container in the refrigerator and eat within one week.

Tip: 

  • Add raisins or dried cranberries for a touch of sweetness.
