Melon Fruit Salad

Serves 6

Fruits and Vegetables: 1 cup per serving

Ingredients

2 cups watermelon, chopped

2 cups honeydew melon, chopped

2 cups cantaloupe, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon honey*

1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped

Directions

  1. Wash and prepare fresh fruit and herbs.
  2. Place fruit in a large bowl and add lime juice, honey, and fresh mint. Gently toss before serving.

Note

*Do not give honey to children under 12 months of age—they are at risk of infant botulism, which is a rare but serious form of food poisoning.
