Melon Salsa


2 cups fresh melon (honeydew, cantaloupe or watermelon - use one kind or a combination), peeled, seeded, and chopped

1 cup cucumber, peeled, and chopped

1/4 cup onion, red or white, chopped

1/4 cup lime juice or lemon juice

1 tablespoon sugar (optional)


1. Wash and prepare fruits and vegetables.

2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix.

3. Taste and season with more lemon or lime juice, if needed.

4. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.


  • Add a jalepeño pepper (seeded and finely chopped) or hot sauce to add spiciness to the salsa.
