The Farm

A little bit about the farm.................

The UMass Student Farming Enterprise produces certified organic produce on 2 acres in South Deerfield at the UMass Crop and Animal Research and Education Center.  We have a lot going on this summer in anticipation of Fall 2012 with growing 36 different vegetables to supply many new and established markets. All of our produce is certified organic in accordance with the guidelines of USDA Natural Organic Program through Baystate Organic Certifiers.  To schedule a visit or put in some volunteer time with us send us an email at studentfarm.enterprise@gmail.com.

Our facebook page has lots of great pictures with updates on how our crops and farmers are doing.

Check out our  blog for current updates on what the student farmers are up to this week.
