RiverSmart will bring its interactive Stream Table to the Connecticut River Watershed Council's annual celebration of the river.

River Celebration 2016 celebrates the nationally-recognized Connecticut River watershed and the people who help protect it. Enjoy a day on the river with awesome excursions, delicious BBQ, and invigorating presentations. Join us to celebrate Laurie Sanders, our Bud Foster Award recipient and devoted naturalist and writer. Come out and celebrate the river with us!

Brunelle’s Marina is located on a beautiful stretch of the river in South Hadley, MA. Home of the Lady Bea and the Dockside Restaurant.

Naturalist and writer Laurie Sanders will be our featured presenter. Connecting past to present, Laurie will describe how the Connecticut River has shaped our region’s settlement patterns, economy, culture, and ecology and how the river and its valley has defined our sense of place. Join us to honor her with the Bud Foster Award!
