Spicy Fruit Salad

Serves: 
4
Ingredients: 

2 fresh fruits, diced to make 2 cups (apples, pears, berries, grapes, or bananas) 

1/4 cup 100% orange juice

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions: 
  1. Wash and dice fruit and place in medium bowl.
  2. Pour 100% juice over fruit.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top of fruit.
  4. Serve. Refrigerate leftovers.
Tips: 
  • Great to make when you have only a couple of fruits available. 
  • Top fruit with a dollop (about 2 tablespoons) of low-fat vanilla yogurt for a sweet and spicy dessert.

Fruits and Vegetables: 1/2 cup
Fat: 0.5 g
Fiber: 2 g
Sodium: 20 mg
