Food Safety Education Program

Massachusetts Partnership for Food Safety Education

The MPFSE (www.mafoodsafetyeducation.info) was formed in 1998 in response to the President's National Food Safety and Quality Initiative which called for a farm-to-table approach to food safety education. The partnership’s mission of providing food safety professionals, food workers, and consumers with easy access to up-to-date food safety information, education and training is consistent with nationwide food safety efforts to reduce the risk of foodborne illness. Since its formation, the partnership has developed and shared many educational materials through its partners and helped train thousands of food workers in schools, congregate meal sites, restaurants, and other settings where food is served.
