Collaborators

The Lawrence NEP office offers nutrition education programs for youth, adults and families in the Lawrence, Lynn, Haverhill and Lowell areas. Paraprofessional and professional staff collaborate with local public schools,  after-school community programs, summer recreation and feeding sites, career training programs, young parent programs , WIC,  Farmers Markets, and community agencies to design, develop and teach nutrition lessons to  children, their teachers and other supportive staff,  parents, and extended family. Activities include in-classroom lessons, single-session workshops, lesson series, educational interactive displays and distribution of print materials.
