Services

One of the primary missions of UMass Extension is to provide aid to practitioners and others in solving problems.  We interact directly with Green Industry professionals through a number of services that we provide:

• E-Mail List
  Our e-mail list exists to facilitate an electronic connection between the UMass Extension Landscape, Nursery & Urban Forestry Program and the Green Industry.  A message to the list is one of our fastest and most dynamic means of relaying information.

• Plant Problem Diagnostics
  The UMass Extension Plant Diagnostic lab provides diagnoses and recommendations for the turf, floriculture, vegetable, nursery, urban forestry and landscape industries.

• Soil Testing
  Testing of soil is a fundamental exercise in landscape care, as soil test results serve to inform numerous key management decisions.  The UMass Soil and Plant Tissue Testing Laboratory provides a complete range of soil testing services for professionals and homeowners alike.
   
• Additional Services
  Select services offered by the UMass Extension Landscape, Nursery & Urban Forestry Program are available only by special arrangement.
